Meet your Chefs
Chef Ashley
Chef Ashley Tan, a specialist in French patisserie, has over six years of experience working as a pastry chef in 5-star hotels and has competed successfully in pastry competitions. She founded Gifted Patisserie Studio in 2018 to share her expertise in pastry arts and has also traveled to Japan, Korea, and Australia to attend masterclasses with renowned chefs.
With a focus on dessert creation and recipe development, she has taught over 1,300 students annually across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Hong Kong, and also consults for new cafes and restaurants in F&B and hospitality.
Chef Jane
Chef Jane has over seven years of experience in baking and pastry arts, with a background working in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Taiwan. She is a member of KFCA and KCDA in Korea and has won awards at the 2019 Korean Pastry Competition.
Since founding her bakery studio in 2017, she has appeared on various media platforms, including Facebook, TV, and food reviews, and has collaborated with cafes and restaurants such as Xuan Cafe, Tian Xi Kopi, and Sho Yakitori Bar.
Chef Jane loves sharing her passion for baking and is dedicated to helping her students achieve their baking dreams through fun and engaging classes.
Chef Hao Wei
Chef HaoWei has taught baking across various countries, including Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia, sharing his expertise in French pastries, macarons, mirror glaze cakes, and éclairs. Since founding his bakery studio in 2016, he has been passionate about teaching and has appeared on numerous TV programs, newspapers, and magazines, conducting interviews and hosting special features.
With extensive experience in pastry arts and media, Chef HaoWei is dedicated to sharing his skills and inspiring aspiring bakers through engaging and comprehensive baking classes.
Chef Man Kwan
Chef Man Kwan is a talented and passionate baker with years of experience creating delicious, artisanal bread and pastries. Known for her warm personality and expert techniques, she’s dedicated to sharing her love of baking and helping students elevate their skills. Chef Xavier Xin Ze
Chef Xavier Xin Ze is a Baking Management graduate from National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism with over 13 years of bread-making experience. Formerly Southeast Asia R&D Bread Chef at Paris Baguette, he now works as a freelance instructor and technical consultant, helping bakery and café brands improve product quality and production efficiency. His expertise spans artisan breads, viennoiserie, laminated pastries, and production management.
Passionate about sharing professional baking knowledge, Chef Xavier is dedicated to inspiring baking enthusiasts through practical and effective techniques.
